Factoring has thus become an important financing option for companies in recent years. This flexible form of corporate financing makes it possible to generate liquidity immediately by selling outstanding receivables from customers.

Factoring explained simply.+

Factoring – for versatile financing

Factoring is a flexible financial service that is increasingly being used by medium-sized companies in industry, trade and the service sector. As Deutsche Factoring Bank, we purchase receivables from our customers' deliveries of goods and services. We buy the receivables from their customers (debtors) and pay the agreed purchase price immediately.

Compared to bank loans, factoring offers our customers short-term sales financing and 100% protection against bad debts. This is made possible by professional debtor and risk management. It is precisely these two services that clearly distinguish factoring from conventional bank loans.

How does factoring work?+

Basic factoring process

1. An invoice is issued for the delivery/service.
2. The invoice is submitted to the factor.
3. The factor finances the invoice in advance...
4. and receives payment for the invoice.
5. If payment is not received, the factor takes over the reminder and collection process as well as legal proceedings.

Factoring is the ongoing sale of all or selected receivables from goods deliveries, services, projects or commercial transactions to a factor.

This sale of receivables from deliveries and services serves as short-term sales financing and as reliable protection against bad debts.

As a receivables purchaser, Deutsche Factoring Bank supports companies in maintaining their financial flexibility.
